Bring back the buzz – boost our high streets

The new Bicester and Woodstock constituency has some of the most beautiful town and village centres in the UK, but some of our best-loved places could very clearly do with a boost.

I met the team at Bicester Village - who do so well at attracting tourists - to talk about how we might work together (and about what they are already doing) to attract more people across from the village to the historical town centre. Whether its attracting village employees into town on their lunch breaks or encouraging visitors to sample Bicester’s brilliant Friday market, there’s more we can do.

Labour has a plan to revitalise town centres and if we work in partnership with business, we can bring back the buzz on our high streets!
